How Debt Review Works
Debt review is a legal process, regulated by the National Credit Act, that helps South Africans who are struggling to keep up with their monthly payments. A registered debt counsellor looks at what you earn, what you spend, and what you owe — then restructures your debt into one monthly payment you can actually afford, while legally protecting you from your creditors.
THE PROCESS, STEP BY STEP

Free assessment
Tell us about your income, expenses and debts. No cost, no obligation.
2.
Affordability check
We work out what you can realistically afford to pay each month.
3.

4.
Restructured payment plan
Your debts are combined into a single, reduced monthly instalment, often at a lower interest rate.
5.
Court order (where required)
Your new payment plan is made legally binding.
6.
Ongoing support
We monitor your plan and liaise with creditors on your behalf until you're debt-free.
7.
Clearance certificate
Once you've paid everything off, you receive formal confirmation and your credit record reflects it.
